Gold Account

What is a Gold Account?

Gold Accounts are a bunch of extra features given to donors of the server. These kinds of commands are mainly cosmetic changes, such as a limited version of the admin command "sm_colorize <player> <color>". Gold members also have access to setting their spawns and having an instant respawn time, all toggled by a menu.

Abuse of power, such as exploiting commands, can lead to losing your Gold Account. If an admin feels that someone is abusing their commands, they reserve the right to have your Gold membership removed.

Features

• Ghost Mode - Your original body loses its head, and falls to the ground. You become stunned, see-through and go into 3rd Person. The screen is black and white.

• Insta-respawn - Enables you to respawn instantly instead of having to wait.

• Setspawn - Set your spawn somewhere else (You cannot set your spawn in some parts of Chambers. ie Deathmatch Arena)

• Colorize - You can choose your color for your character (You cannot change your color while in Ghost Mode)

• Death Effect - You can choose what will appear by your body after death (ie "Yikes!")

• Go To Player - Allows you to teleport to anybody on the server given they allow you to (cannot be used anywhere other than the district)

• Golden Pyro - Transform your pyro into a snazzy and somewhat tacky golden masterpieced

• In-Game name is now colored a Gold color.

Shortcuts

Since the 2.0 update, the old Gold commands have been changed. Instead of using underscores between gold and the command (ie. "gold_regen"), the command can now be used as "gold regen". This change was implemented for programming purposes.

To bind a gold command to a key, use the following:

bind <key> "gold regen"

Instead of "gold regen", you can also use:

• gold ghost
• gold setspawn
• gold clearspawn
• gold respawn
• gold paint

Now all of these are easier to use. Simply type !gold or /gold in the chat and press the numbers.

How can I get a Gold Account?

You can get a Gold Account by donating at least $5 to the group. Once you have a Gold Account, you will be able to access your powers by typing !gold, or bind Gold to a key.

However, you can also get a taste of the powers of Gold by grabbing a Gold Account Trial. They drop randomly, as with other items.

A gold account may also be acquired by trading for a Gold Stone (found in the page UserSystem), which is also the current method of receiving your Gold Account through donation. After donating, a Gold Stone appears in your pack and allows you to evolve.

It is also possible to buy a gold stone in the Dark Market in Tunnels, however it requires a large amount of coins.

Trivia

• You may be able to find a Gold Account Trial lying around randomly, it's a 5 minute trial of what Gold members experience.
• A Gold account is required to use a Platinum Upgrade Pack.
• The color "Red" and "Blue" were removed, and later switched with "Team Colors".
