Platinum Account

Platinum is still being developed by noodleboy, and this page will be updated when it is fully complete.

Platinum accounts currently are available to active members of the community who are level 40+ and also have received Gold Membership via donations. This was done to keep the number of people who are a Platinum Member limited and therefore special.

Features

• Energy Mode - When you kill someone, random or not, they will disintegrate like the Energy Ball death from Half Life 2 or like the Cow Mangler, Bison or Short Circuit death.
• High FOV - When this is enabled, the FOV is set high, so you can see more widely than usual.
• Fall Damage - When this is enabled, no fall damage will be taken.
• Bouncy Projectiles - When enabled, all projectiles such as the rocket, flare gun and arrows will all bounce upon hit of a wall 2 times, until they collide with what they hit.
• Change class - Has the possibility to change class while being in the District.
• Platinum Pet - A 1 time use feature which gives the Platinum exclusive pet, Healthy.

Glitches

• Slow Rocket (Bouncy Projectiles) - If you look directly down and fire rockets, they shall travel across the floor, until they hit a wall, where they explode. This is kickable, and considered abuse, since it lags the server, and can sometimes crash it.
• Boomerang Flare (Bouncy Projectlies) - If you send a flare projectile far enough, it will return back to you if it hits the floor.
• People having their level reset will still have their Platinum status when being level 1.
• If using an All-class misc/hat i.e; Bills Hat or Summer Shades when using the Change Class platinum feature, clipping may occur with items. Such as the Bills Hat being upside on the Engineer or the Shades literally in the Pyro's face.
• If you go from a class with large health to low health (like Heavy to Spy) with the Change Class, it's possible to get a large overheal boost, so going from Heavy to Spy gives Spy a 300HP overheal.

Trivia

• On April Fools Day 2011, noodleboy347 made the joke of adding Diamond Accounts. To get it, you had to eat a pistachio.
• The Great Platinum Purge of 2012 as it was named on the forums happened during Mid-January. A Item update caused all Platinum players to lose their platinum status, but unlike the first time this has happened, no one got a Platinum Stone back. This was possibly done to reset the number of Platinum members so they would be rarer like they were supposed to be. Noodle later gave everyone with Level 40+ and Gold a Platinum Account. This meant that some members, who didn't even have Platinum, received it free of charge.
• Platinum stone is the second rarest item in the entire drop system.
