Plugin and Major Updates

Golden Machine Gun have many custom made plugins, but sometimes break or need to be nerfed. This is a change list of the plugins.

Note:Some links may be broken since the new forums were created.

Major Updates

As stated above, updates where major changes were brought to GMG and its servers (listed from oldest to newest).

The Tunnels Update

The Tunnels Update added Version 20, and Generation 3 of Tunnels. The new map includes the Dystopian, a monster in the sewers below, a brand new bot area, a new courtyard, where the Horseless Headless Horsemann can appear. The shop has since been redesigned to fit the style of Tunnels. It is also connected to the Tunnels below. You can also see strange eyes inside the shop, and a very strange secret.

The Fourth of July Admin Update

The Fourth of July Admin Update added 11 new admins in celebration of Independence Day. Also, lyn was made the new co-owner, in replacement of Bucky.

The Antique Update

The Antique Update added 32 brand new items, 32 new crafting recipes, and a shop into the Golden Machine Gun servers. There are many more new features. Click here to see the changelist

The Crowned Update

The Crowned Update added Boss Battles + and several different changes including a modified version of Chambers and Tunnels Version 22. See the change log here and the update page here

• A new feature in the update was the addition of Badge.
  • There are multiple Badges.
  • When it comes time for a boss battle you may sacrifice a badge to become the boss!
• Boss Battles+ saw the addition of many new bosses.

A Crazy Valentine's Day Update

Information on this update was released day-by-day leading up to the release on Valentine's Day.

• The highlights of this update were pets, NPCs that followed the player around the server and drugs, items that cause a drug-like effect on the player.
• Other changes were things like coins in Chambers modified so those who killed the player that dropped can get the coins first and the Dark Market shop being added to Tunnels.
• There were also additions such as a command for exact amounts of coins, automatic registering for new players, and balancing of battle items and bosses.

Achievement Chambers Version 60

Version 60 of the main Golden Machine Gun map Chambers will be completely redone from square one. It will be based around current Team Fortress 2 maps. For example, the Deathmatch Arena will be looking like CTF_Turbine. Version 60 will also include new areas such as a Gold, Platinum and Admin area, a Boss Battle room separate to the DM and an Arcade Room with Arcades that have multiple games.
